Business and nation have to respond innovatively to these developments to continue their growth. As the need for emerging technology of today's world K. N. govt. Arts College has incorporated an EDC for the budding entrepreneurs on 11th January 2005.

The EDC is being promoted in educational institutions to develop institutional mechanism to create. Entrepreneurial culture by imparting the necessary skills to the student community. . The purpose of the cell is to develop individuals across socio economic backgrounds, who have the courage to dream, the drive to make difference, the ability to believe is themselves and the persistence to connect their thoughts into action.

The cell works to prepare a pool of next generation entrepreneurs who, through their dreams and action, would contribute to the economic and social development of the nation. The EDC redefines the role of the youth to make them more independent. At the same time, the cell also concentrates on the rural fronts so as to develop the potential of the rural youth and revamp their to additional mind set.

The students are thus shaken out of their complacent mood regarding their employment opportunities such entrepreneurs become icons of success with the help of the prospective tool called innovation. They also cater to the ever growing employment needs of the society. leaving no stone unturned in their innovative and constructive pathway, they prove to be the heart beat of a nations progress & prosperity. Thus the EDC empowers the students with entrepreneurial skills. The placement all organises and extends services towards collaborative placement activities. The cells conducts training activities for the final year students mainly focusing on career planning, personality development, campus placement. Continuous interaction of the all helps in achieving the goals and motivating students to contribute towards the success.
