About the Department

Department of Physics was started as an under graduate course with 40 students in the year 1979-1980.Second shift System (SSS) was introduced in 2007-2008 with 80 students. Later on it was recognized as a research department in 2011-2012 and 3 candidate s are registered their Ph.D course in Part time. Department is provided with Allied Physics for Chemistry and Mathematics students and Applied physics for Computer science students. Department is Equipped with 3 labs for major and Allied courses and for research programmes.

The number of books in the library is 1650.
